those little white plastic sleeves are what the factory used......those nuts will work if you can get to the backside of panel to put them on.....Just a tip.....if you have the factory size holes in the panel, I have used a piece of air line tubing the right size in place of those plastic...

yeah that passenger fender is not right.....it should be like the drivers side

yes they are exactly the same grain and color.....the seam width in the center could be 38" or 43" from seam to seam.....My 72 dart has original vinyl roof and measures 38" seam to seam....not sure what a 68 GTS is though

yeah, and with the cost of the grill you will be looking at about 1500.00 in parts to do this

looks like 200.00 for 4 oz. kit with base coat and brush 3000.00 for the gallon kit

must be something with the under coat , because if you took notice ,the drips on the hood of the car they were painting on didn't turn to chrome

...Yes that is correct.....Nothing to lose but your time....But I'm telling you , use a copper spoon on the back and little heat on the mig......You can build up those pin holes in the trunk pan and grind smooth with a great result that will be solid.....If not cut out and replace with new metal...

I disagree, If it was blasted , what you see is metal....no filler....So yes the metal is thinner near the pin holes than other places but it is still metal....Light heat on the mig with copper spoon backing can fill them in.....The quarter panels because of the body line would be easier to cut...

Those quarters, I would replace from body line down with good metal......The spare tire area, I would try to mig in the holes with copper spoon behind and low heat on the mig.....grind smooth.....JMO

I am from PA AKA one of the states in the rust belt.....and sorry but I can tell you are from CA....this looks like it is really in solid condition to me....We would be glad to blast a car around here and look that good.....just replace the "small pin holes" in the areas you described and move...

Probably...because my 72 dart stops up top and has little trim piece up top.....But he is asking about a 1971 model year
