if you do not have the PIE top end kit yet, I would recommend you read up on them. Some have had decent luck with them but some have said some very bad things about them. I have never dealt with them but I have heard of them in the Dakota RT community.

With the chineese intakes its a 50 /50 chance you have of getting them to seal. From what I have seen most tend to go with the Eddie on for the magnum carb motors.

if you want to use a mechanical fuel pump, then you can change the timing cover over to a LA style cover and bolt on a cam snout extension like the one Hughes sells. Though this will mean that you will also loose the serpentine set up on the Magnum engine.

you can get the mopar performance valve covers for the magnum engine or what we use to on our dakota rts was to take a 2 x4 and crush the baffles in the valve covers. It made pouring an oil in a pain but you can get them to clear the rockers.

I think some of the later 2003 blocks they did away with the places to mount the A engine mounts and only have the pads for the Truck Motor mounts. I remember seeing a 2003 RT that did not have the mounts and it was from the factory that way.

I like the paint job. When you installed the magnum did you chains or just the plate that mounts to the top of the intake manifold. I am always cautious about using one of those to support the weight of the motor.

are you sure on that number...My cam has .538 of lift on the exhaust side and I use to run it on stock heads all day long...I thought I heard somewhere that it was larger than that.
