    408 Crankshaft

I have had a mopar cast crank in my dakota for about 8 years now with no issues. It is driven hard on the streets with at least a 150 shot on it.

The DRB is the mopar hand held checker that the dealerships have. I would try Ebay or someplace like that. The snap on scanner I believe you purchase them directly from snap on..I sorry I do not know much about them...I have friends that have a DRB so I borrow it when I need to make the...

    Tuning a Mopar Computer

I believe mopar specs calls for anywheres from plus 10 to minus 10 on the DRB. Most of them are set near zero. It will run anywhere in that range, just may run like crude until you get it set right. With one of my old cams, i did not have it set right and every morning it would backfire once...

    Tuning a Mopar Computer

The fuel sync tells the computer when to fire the injector. From my understanding you want to set it as close to 0 as you can for a factory motor. Then depending on mods sometimes the vehicle performs better to have it fire before or after the piston is at its TDC. Its one of those items you...

    Small block strokers. Your findings.

I know a few guys that are running them in dakotas, They are a not prone to cracking like the mag heads and I think they can be had for like 350 per head or something low like that.

that pricing is not bad if thats for the components. My lower half was close to 4k and then my heads were another 1800. That was not a complete package either. Rob

    Small block strokers. Your findings.

Magnum heads will work but the Mopar RT heads are a lot better. I built a magnum 408 stroker and was worried about the flow of the Stock heads so would up getting a set of rt heads ported and polished. I put it in a dakota.
