What other year dash will bolt into a 70 Dart.. The guy I gave the dart to would like to replace with a stock dash and does not care if it is period correct.

I was told this car has the old style bearings.. So I am going to put a Roller bearing axle in and see what room I have then... Hard to pay a shop to cut 3/4 " off the tube and reweld a flange on..

Well damm I was hoping it would as I need another 1/4 " pf space...

Do the green axle bearings move the wheel out any at all? I hear some say yes and some say no.

Coil is wrapped in a coozie to keep heat away from it... Oh I paid $5000 for the car as is with 2 glass bumpers and another set of 10.5w that are almost new.

Found this racecar under a pecan tree that has been doormat for 8 years... A little fresh fuel a carb cleaning and a hot battery and it fired right up. Allot of old janky stuff but a hell of a deal for the price I paid....496 with a 727 j convertor and 4:56 on 10.5w stock tubs stretched...

Got the hood back from the paint shop and sat it on the car still a ways to go before I put those 14x32's to the test.

So you have a modified steering shaft? Looks like it is just a shaft without the cover out of the firewall the best I can see. That is an incredible photo.. dang....

Anyone have pics of the drivers side head to steering column? I just need to see about how close yours is and if you had to do any modifications to the steering column.

So does the Dart trim froma 68 car work on the 67 Barracuda?

Is it the same as a dart? And should I just look to going with a 68 trim instead? Did they change the barracuda like they did the dart as far as clips and seal?

Yes Garrett E those are the 65 SS F/X heads Famous Bob I am planning on the r/p route for this thing. So there should be no shimming required. 3/4" shaft steering column will thin some out on that side as well.I bought what i was told was an offset m/c off of here but it does look to be.

i have done went off the deep end with my 67 barracuda. I have went and bought what is to be my last hurrah motor. Anyone else stuffed one of these in their barracudas? Chrysler aluminum block with alcoa aluminum heads. Will have a cross ram on it as well but is about to take aride to my fab guy...

Camshaft is a 292 700 lift with a PTC 4000 converter 391 gears with a 14X32 drag radial. Car weighs in with a bb at 2800 lbs.

For street use and pump 93 octane fuel? I know it will be a tuning issue to some level but there has to be that one step that you cannot tune your way to it running good. Some of the old school guys are like 11 to 1 but I thought there are some on up in the 12.5 to 1 area.,

Well darton does not have anything on the shelf but said they could make me some... I will try LA Sleeve as well.. Na not going to be massive.. Maybe in the 500 inch. I have a set of Alcoa heads already ready with this block with valve covers so yes 2 4v carbs... May end up with an 871 on it.

Yes the block has been checked out and is good.. Here is a pic of mune. It says Chysler 426 and not milodon on the side.

I guess i will be making a call to Darton tomorrow to see if I can get some sleeves.
