I know this may not be a good thing to ask but can you use a 318 crank and balanecer in a 349? With that be mentioned I am curious for me.. Not that I have one to do but just wondering.

So if I placed a wanted ad on here I need to ask for the 72 up weighted balancer?

The balancer that is on some of these is thick with a weight on them. is this the same one that was on the 318 motors? I am asking for a friend who is putting one together from left over parts just to throw in a beater.

Well I went with a Gen 3 hemi 5.7 being built with forged pistons h beam rods cam and some ported Eagle heads. Should be fun.. May hang a turbo on it just for some fun.

I am looking into what are some good heads out there for the small block. I want something in aluminum and flows good out of the box..

Does anyone know if the the later 5.9 topend will work on a 73 360 long block? I was thinking this may be the cheapest way to convert over to fuel injection.
