The WPC club held their National Meet there a few years ago. I'm a member of the local region that hosted it. All I remember was it was HOT with little shade and lots of dusty roads.

Sooooo, I know the spectator gates and registration open at 9am. What time can we bring the cars in? I'm usually not there early, but it's going to be different this year.

I'll be bringing a Mopar buddy. He's a B body guy, but I think we can convert him on Saturday. He'll be bringing some Wisconsin beer. See everybody on Saturday!!

We bombed down there for the day on Saturday. The GMC "motorhome" in post #5 was unbelievable. That '56 Chev full custom, also in post#5, is still owned by the original owner. Shortly after he bought the car in '56, he did the build and it is as beautiful today as it was back then.

I'll be there with Scampy. #205. As long as I can keep my butt out of the hospital this year. 15 days in the hospital and 6 weeks of aftercare with Endocarditis. Missed Mopars in the Park, Back to the 50's and Street Machine Nats last year. But, I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.

Cruised Scampy today with no issues. Val comes out of storage Friday and will start primpin' for the show this year.

Might be some disappointed people who think they are at Car Craft instead of Street Machine Nationals. Those hoping to get into a Car Craft article, photo, whatever will be going to Milwaukee. I heard there are lots of early registrations for St. Paul. I also heard that Family Events was trying...

Street Machine Nationals is replacing Car Craft Summer Nationals at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds THE SAME WEEKEND this year. I sense some shenanigans here.

Anybody notice the mailed flyer is for 2014 with a 2015 cover page and the new classification rules? It has 2014 show dates and "30th Annual " show information. WTF?? Fiat has taken over! P.S. They got my name wrong, too.

Just got the flyer today and see the issue about classes. I would suggest to just park in the 100/200 class and put "NOT JUDGED" on your windshield. Hail Hail the gang's all going to be there. Too many worry more about a trophy and not about hanging out with good FABO friends.

Thanks Keith and everyone else at the meet and greet. The number of A bodies at the show was impressive. Didn't make it back on Sunday 'cuz the dizzy went sour on the way home and spent Sunday getting it figured out and back running again.

Scampy will be there.
