    215/70-14 is the largest size tire you can use on a 5.5" wide rim according to tire manufacturers, I dont think it would be terrible to use a 225/70-14 if you really wanted to, anything larger or lower profile would be a bad idea though

    if your car has big bolt disk brakes you should be fine I dont think those rims were ever offered in small bolt
