Thanks for the comments, guys. Looks like possibly the wheels/center caps/trim rungs are my next thing to look at. :) Thanks!

    Help ID'ing a Clicking noise?

I've noticed for about two months now that whenever I take my Dart into the city or in an area with guardrails and such, I can hear a clicking on my left side. It's definitely speed-related, but unless the sound has something to reflect off of, it's too quiet to hear. I've replaced the axle...

    Hmm...so I don't love Monroe shocks...

I know I've heard a fair number of y'all on here say that you've got Monroe's on you A-bodies, thought I would share my experience with you: September 2012, I replace the front original (!) shocks with a pair of Monroes I got (I think) from Rockauto. Installation is a breeze and the car...

    School me on drop spindles...

Thinking about working on the stance of my Dart this year; I like the idea of making a nod towards traditionally lowered mild customs. I'm not in it for the handling, though I have already upgraded the torsion bars with .92"s and threw on some new Monroe shocks. My question is twofold: 1...

Are these torsion bars gonna be too big for me?

WEll, I guess what I am asking, is, for a /6 car is a 1.03" bar gonna shake fillings loose over rough pavement? It is my DD, so I don;t want to sacrifice my ride too much, though I would like it to handle better. I'm wondering if maybe something in the .920 range would be better suited for my...

Are these torsion bars gonna be too big for me?

I'm looking to upgrade my handling in my street-driven '68 Dart. Just looking to make it corner with a little less body roll, stiffen up the ride a bit. A while back I bought a set of 1.03" Hotchkis torsion bars...and I guess now I'm wondering if these are gonna be too stiff for my car, being a...

new here, question about improving handling

Great, thanks for all the info! Right now I'm thinking bigger torsion bars, front swaybar, then if that doesn't get me to the level of handling I want, I'll throw on a rear bar. The PO just put on new shocks, so I don't feel like spending any $ there yet.

new here, question about improving handling

Thanks for the input, all. Regarding make of swaybars, has anybody used g-Max bars? I can't find a price for the Addco ones, but this is far cheaper than Hotchkis. Perhaps a front swaybar is all I need, in conjunction with larger torsion bars. I'm not obviously looking to build a track car...

new here, question about improving handling

Hi there, I am a soon-to-be owner of a 1968 Dodge Dart 270 which will be my daily driver. Anyways, I tested the car out the other day, and it's pretty clear I need to do some suspension work on the Dart to make it handle a little better. I was thinking putting on both a front and rear...
