    dupli-color DE1634 Chrysler/GM low gloss is the lowest sheen ceramic high heat paint that is in my opinion a bit better since it will resist oil, atf, etc., and less chance of "chalking" over time. Or the the DA1605 flat black if you go that route.

    It comes with the gas setup so it would be better than what you have but it is really only good for thin metal.     This stuff i think its called metal to metal or something like that. it comes in a grey can at most auto paint stores. it looks like anti-sieze and is a pain to sand but works great.

    i just used a hammer and block on the outside. i got great results and just worked slowly. keep in mind i wasnt worried about my paint since its going to be redone soon anyway.
