CIC was cancelled by the guy who used to run the Amarillo Area Mopars. No idea what happened but he cancelled the show and shut down his website. So some locals have taken it upon themselves to put together a gathering at Thompson Park. Turn out should be good!! Lots of old and new Mopars!!

I hope! So if anyone is making plans. Make reservations at I-70 and Brice Road! :)

We are heading up for our first time! Hope we can find a good place to hang out in the evenings and see some cars!!! I thought everyone still cruised Brice Road so that is where we made (non refundable) reservations. Then I find out that is no where close to where everyone hangs out now...

So how was the swap meet? Any Mopar parts or cars? :happy1:

Sold all the Dusters and Dart Sports. The only vehicles I have left to get rid of are the 3 trucks (Spirit of 76, 84 swb Ram and a 73 club cab swb). I would make someone a great deal if they wanted all 3 of them! :) Also I am probably going to end up selling both my 71 Satellites. But...

Probably going to miss it this year. It will be the first time in years that I have not made it. :banghead: Was planning to load up some parts and clear them out now that most all of the cars have been sold off. If anyone needs Dart Sport bumpers, brackets, fenders, hood, 73 Dart Swinger...

The weather was as good as it could get!!!! Lots of nice cars! Now bring on the sleep!!!!!!!!

It's not even 8am and already rinsed the truck off and getting ready to meet some others for breakfast! We are going to have to make a couple of trips to get everything down there. So we may not be there right at 10. Looks like the weather is going to be pretty nice! Not to hot, not to cold!!

Time for a shower and some much needed sleep! Is it Saturday yet?

Good to see a Friday night get together! We should be there as long as we can get the cars wiped down for Saturday.

Any plans (or know of any plans) for a Friday night get together or meet and greet? We just moved back to Amarillo last week. We will be taking at least 2 cars maybe more depending on a few things.

I plan to be there but not able to take a car. May drive the wifes truck over.

They hold it at the Texas Motorplex and there were only 25 cars in the show????? That is a huge place and they spend all the money to advertise it....for 25 cars???

How large is the show and swap meet? Never been before but considering going. May either bring my wife's Duster. Or may bring a car to sell if the swap meet is pretty good sized??
