Plugs won't make it diesel......you have a timing issue....make sure you disconnect the vacuum at dist and plug at carb...before timing it

check timing.......sounds like you know how to adjust the carb with the vacuum gauge......check the carb after timing is adjusted.....

i have driven an older dodge V-10 stick, and let me tell you that thing had some power...Just remember to get all the wiring harness and compute....I would be all over that.....

7.25 is ok for now just get it going you can change that out later.......I have wailed on a 7.25 pretty good and have never had a problem....as long as it starts to spin LOL
