    I bet that's the same one that was in Las Vegas a bunch of years ago. It was 600 or 800 for the whole thing and a friend went to look at it and passed. I told him go buy it for me and it was already gone. Surprised Tony didn't scoop it up at the time.

    68 does not follow the same number association as the 69 and up cars. 68 has the shipping order number stamped in the body, core support, trunk rail, not the VIN

    If the vin on pan rail isn't readable, nobody can really say it belongs to their car.

    Nope The pan rail is the vin for the car it's out of, 1exxxxxx 1= 1971 E = Los Angeles The front of block is year, plant, size, fuel assembly date and days unit number G = 1971 W = Windsor plant 340 P premium fuel 3381 = Oct 30, 1970 Build date 0351 = 351st built that day

    Already listed in the for sale section. I believe it no longer has a forged crank, it comes with a cast unit. So I wouldn't exactly call it a 1969 engine, it's a bastard. :)
