    Anyone remember this place???

Near the corner of Roscoe and Canoga in Canoga Park. Dealer row was on Roscoe back then. Was Dependable Dodge way back. Ford, Lincoln, VW along there. The Plymouth dealer was across the street IIRC.

Lived up the street from the Long Beach dealer for many years.

    Arizona guys need YOUR help

Did you put a want ad for what you were looking for. I bet I have some or most of what you may have been looking for for a Dart/Scamp. A lot closer to your home base too. Glad you had a decent experience at Double Vag Anal Penetration, most don't enjoy the place/treatment. Pricey is an...

Fall Fling in Van Nuys 10/20

There are people raping through the swap line when parked in the street before they ever park the sellers. Sucks but that's the way it is sometimes. Some sellers tell them to F off and wait til they get parked, others will deal in the street. You can get deals at the beginning or end, just...

    New Black/Yellow Plates Bill Passed.

I'll try that. Would you happen to know the VC section? Or do I need to search. Thanks

    New Black/Yellow Plates Bill Passed.

I have the title that shows the plate number. 3 places said no go as it wasn't a 69 and earlier and the plates are out of the system from no reg since late 90's. If you know how to keep a Blue/Yellow plate on a 70, I'm all ears!

    New Black/Yellow Plates Bill Passed.

Sounds pretty good. I wonder if that means I can register my swinger using the original plates that I currently have on the car, long since out of the system.

Some things never fail for me. Had to do something at 4:30 that I wasn't told about until today. I'll make it down there one night before the year is over.

Registering a Race car in California

Package tray shelf, drivers side, between speaker hole and window channel. Only has the last 8 digits. They may require you to take it to CHP. Usually the Federal door sticker is enough for them to move on. Without that you'll be at the CHP most likely.

Registering a Race car in California

Walk in and tell them you want "Title ONLY!" No plates, no registration nothing, just proof of ownership. They will likely ding you for any transfer fees that weren't paid on title skipping... meaning if you weren't the buyer from the titled person, you'll pay the fee if there was another...

Why port a set of x heads and dump a bunch of money in them with all the other options out there? I understand if you are looking for something nostalgia based.

Exactly... Last person that really started to run my Dart down, I politely said, "For $13,500, you can fix it any way you like. I'll take cash, you got it on you?" That just about ended that conversation. Build it the way you want to and have fun. That's what it's all about...

I'm surprised they even knew what they were, sans turbodart's Bee, from some of the meetings I've had with members from the SD club.

Fun time. Good to meet up with the guys from last time and a few new people, turbodart, physhy, seabee. I saw Craig who set up the parking and thanked him. He said if we wanted to meet again, he could assist with parking. Yeah just a bunch of junky mopars... LMAO.

8 3/4 in wilmington ca, open rear

Splined axles in that bad boy. No bueno. Would be good for the housing and case only for a later car if shortening it. The housing ends aren't usable with later backing plates IIRC.

Rather do the 17th myself. Don't think I'd last 10 minutes with a bunch of yahoos hitting sirens all night on fire truck night. That gets a BIG pass from me. Rather listen to a bunch of cackling nitro cars. 8)

I'd like to do one of the September meetings. The third is not good, labor day weekend. If I can get the pumpkin car running, might bring that next time. Meeting at Wade's shop is good with me.

Had a great time even though it was a long haul, 125-130 miles one way. We got in at Marks place, 1/2 way to my house around 12:30. I drove home today. I loved the weird looks we got going down the one side street with all the Chevies. They were like WTF is that stuff, we must have been...
