Just as slow as before mods..

Another on the throttle issue. If it has a floormat, that can impede full swing of your pedal to the floor, reducing cable movement at carb. I had a similar issue and took a decent sized sectional relief cut out of the floormat.

Just as slow as before mods..

Nicely done with the fuel line zip tied to the heater hoses. JMO, that fuel system can use a complete redo from a simplicity and safety approach. If you lived by me, I'd suggest coming over and take an afternoon to clean it up. That plate on the tank is on the horizontal plane, correct...

Some simple fixes and get the tune up straightened out and I bet that car runs really well.

1969 Race Dart w/ 426 Hemi- garaged for 45+ years

Something to consider. Rowdy race parts 40 years ago aren't so rowdy today. People drive all the time with combinations that would have been unheard of in the 80's. Tunnel ram, dominators, mag in a hemi. What's not to like. The cool can with that "safety first" rubber hose laying in behind...

    Krusty is making progress....

I saw the first page of this and you have the same disease that I do when it comes to track cars. If you can't see the metal because it's covered up, start drilling holes in it! LOL Cool build and nice work.

    1971 duster

Not sure if it is lighting or not. The upper door frames look glossy. They should be organisol finish of the hood. Awesome car. Love the A4 color.

    12:05 Garage- ’70 Duster build

Racer joe hit the nail on the head. Run a piece of tube, arching from vent to vent, snip a v at the peak. Old drag car approach to keep hard leaving/wheelie cars from getting excess fuel. This one is a bit more fancy than hose.

My "new" '74 Duster- or why I need a project like a hole in the head

The AA crimpers can be found at other houses like Moser and electrical suppliers as well. Likely for less $... Convenience of summit has a cost.

My "new" '74 Duster- or why I need a project like a hole in the head

What are you using to crimp them. non-insulated you shouldn't be using the cheap crimper that autozone has. Get a klien crimper like this. The toothed crimp is what you use on non-insulated. Use fully closed, full circle, butt connectors too. Any good electrrical supplier has them. Not...

    Now I have a Valiant

Why the open chamber ede's? Should buy the 60779 head and correct head gasket even with a 340. Nice car and good on Higgs for helping you. He's a good guy for sure!

    71 hemi orange swinger rescue.

Did you get lucky? Rim Blow and Disc.... does it have an 8.75 rear in it? Lots of the cars optioned like yours ended up with 8.75's instead of the 7.25.

    Resurrecting Mom's Duster

If you are saving the panel that is being removed, a cutter or something else to cleanly bust the spots loose is required. Junking the panel... tear it up!!! :)

    Resurrecting Mom's Duster

Looks like you used a spot cutter to bust the floor loose. If you are ever going to go at it again, removing a complete floor, use a grinder to cut the welds on the floor. Goes MUCH quicker, 1/2 the time or less. You are throwing the pan out anyways, so what it looks like when removed is...

    72 duster 340 Norway

Set the idle timing where it should be and the solenoid is only along for the ride. It was a crutch for low initial timing on the engines to pass smog regs.

    68 Cuda fastback suspension rebuild...

3 Weeks??? Get out there and get to work... Says the guy with the 4 year project in his garage. LOL If you have access to a roof panel or hood, cut out your own fill panel. It's not hard to do and will likely fit better. If you don't have the minitub powerpoint, let me know, I'll...
