Holley metering block. Is this a problem?

Changing intakes is a pretty east job. The problem started when you put the new intake on, so swap the old one back on and see if it disappears. If it does, then you have narrowed down the problem to the new intake. At least then you know what to troubleshoot. Good luck with it and keep us...

Stock 318 fuel line hose size?

I would say your stock lines are 5/16". Look up your fuel filter and you should be able to tel the size from that. You can also use a veneer caliper to measure the metal line to be sure.

fuel pump out 2nd time in 2months?????????

Drop the tank and clean out the gunk. It will ruin the pump. I never let any of my cars go under 1/4 tank. That way I avoid picking up any dirt that may be in the tank. Dirt will ruin your electric pump too. It will make it work harder and eventually burn it out.

Yep. I agree. Siphon some of the gas out until you get a new seal. It should be readily available.

The smaller ones were on the 340s and 383s and the larger ones were on the 440s. I still haven't found out what the part numbers were...

    Carter 750?

I'd love to have a 750 AVS. My car is a 360 automatic. I only have it for a couple of months. Not sure what cam is in it but it was setup for NOS at one time. The line is still there and the bottle holder. It has a 750 Holley dual feed double pumper on it now but no choke. It's a bear to start...

Did Carter make a 750 carb for the 340? If so, what was the model number? Thanks, Frank
