The 67 Dart GT 273 4-Barrel that I recently purchased has a locking gas cap and I want to put the stock one on it. I have seen both chrome and painted. What is correct for this car?
I had the same problem and determined that I had not tightened the lock ring to the last stop. I thought I had tightened it all of the way but I was mistaken.
