Freeze, thaw cycle makes the cracks wide and the bias plys that I had on my Barracuda tended to catch the cracks when you drove parallel over them. I got radials that look similar to the bias plys...

Thanks guys. My buddy is restoring a set. Looks like satin is the way to go. He only paid $100 for the set of four complete with centers. Great shape too. Only needs the paint done.
