    4bt 72 Dart

I have no personal experience with a blown out front seal on an injector pump nor do I know anyone who has experienced it so I'm only parroting what I've read on the interweb, it could just be misinformation that's getting passed around but if the front seal does happen to get pushed out it's...

Gotta change the lift pump or regulate the fuel pressure down to run the rotary style Injector pump, anything over about 15 psi will blow out the front seal.

She's LUMP! Restore or Part/Scrap? FABO Help!

Carefull welding around glass, I'll bet your vent window and door glass has little specs all over it from the welding spatter. I learned that lesson the hard way but luckily it was on a ford that wasn't mine.

She's LUMP! Restore or Part/Scrap? FABO Help!

The hole in the floor is probably from a port-a-power or whatever was used to push the door pillar back in place. Thats a hard area to fix, theres a lot of layers of sheetmetal in one area. It's nice to see a four door being fixed up insted of chopped up for parts.

    My 70 Dart

Looks like a pretty solid car for the northeast. I would cut out the rot and replace, the rust you see on the outside is usually just the tip of the iceberg of whats hiding behind the panel. Old hoods and doors are a good source of donor sheetmetal or if you get new stuff 20 guage works good. I...

She's LUMP! Restore or Part/Scrap? FABO Help!

Pull the fender off, straighten it out, pull the crease out of the door, straighten the rocker, paint it then drive the heck out of it. Thats what I would do. That car looks way to clean to part out. Did a tire come apart or did it get hung up on something on the driver side?

You guys ever feel like you'll never finish?

I feel that way every time I look at my two project cars. I find that breaking the whole project down into smaller projects, you get a sence of accomplishment after each smaller job gets done. Hang in there and just keep thinking about the first drive when its all done.

    Removing a dash from a 72 Demon

Dash removal is alot easier with the windshield out however it can be done with the windshield in place. There are 5 screws hidden under the windshield gasket which need to be cut off from under the dash. Hopefully the guy that installed the windshield didn't use to much sealant on the gasket...
