    Fuel Tank Capacity???

I believe that the tank should be 18 gallons, so 20 liters would be between a quarter and a third of a tank.

Now by golly I'm gonna find out 1st hand about pre-magnum TBI...

They work fine, but don't handle modifications well. The computer assumes certain specs will always be the same, and if you deviate, it will not compensate. If you change the stock cam, you probably won't be happy.

How do you remove the gas filler tube ?

Yes, remove the three screws. There are actually two "seals" for the tube. There is the flat one that is more of a dust shield that you'll want to remove from the trunk floor, and then a grommet that is actually in the opening of the tank. You'll be able to slide it out like Johnny described...

Not to mention all of the more exotic expensive parts you need to buy just to use the 48 degree block.

Source for large capacity A-body Gas tank?

Yes, it is, but it's also an easy way to get thousands of emails a day that may or may not be legitimate, plus tons of tire kickers wasting their time. Emails are easy to put off and forget about, but a phone call demands attention. I'm not saying it's right or wrong. I'm just saying that...

Source for large capacity A-body Gas tank?

In my experience, it's pretty rare for any company to return emails. If you're serious about something, you'll usually need to call.

why does it idle but not take fuel

I don't think anyone is telling him to replace a bunch of things at one time. Yes, the vacuum leak needs to be fixed. The engine will never run right until he does. It can also damage the engine and cause other issues like excessive oil consumption. I left a plug out of the back of an...

why does it idle but not take fuel

Of course, the vacuum leak is important to fix, but as cosig said, it could be condenser, and/or points.

    dart filler neck gromet

For the grommet, if it's a 68-74 Dart, the Chrysler part number is 3404182, and it costs about $9 from the dealer. If it's a different year, I'm not sure of the number, but it's worth a call to the dealership to see what they can find for you. I see some people trying to get up to $35 for the...

    Gas Tank on California Car?

So, I traded my 67 Dart convertible for a 71 Demon 340 this weekend. I didn't pay close enough attention on the strap placement for tying it down to the trailer, and one of the straps wore a hole in the gas tank. The car isn't here, so I can't look at it, so I thought I'd ask you guys if...

    Isopropyl Alcohol

The alcohol will absorb the water and blend with the gas. That's what Heat and Iso-Heat do. Iso-Heat should be a higher concentration of alcohol than the rubbing alcohol. The stuff he threw in is 70% alcohol, and 30% mostly water. There are also some additives to the rubbing alcohol that...

SB Xram Pics - Edelbrock STR12 Manifold

It's hard to tell. When I see them show up on eBay, they usually disappear quickly. The sellers get outside offers because people don't want to chance losing it in the auction and "cheat" their way into owning them. An NOS one sold on eBay about 1.5 years ago for just under $2000.

    Whats wrong ?????

It looks like it was cut to me. The intake face looks pretty thin. Most likely the heads were milled on your 360, and instead of also milling the intake side of the head, they cut the intake to fit. Now you're trying to install it on a set of heads that are not milled, and it doesn't reach...

    cast iron W2 intake?

MANY heavily ported W2s have rectangular ports. I've seen a bunch of W2s with rectagular ports, whether it be drag racers or roundy-round guys. I have a set of Batten heads with massive rectagular ports that I got from a dirt track guy. Bob Glidden's heads from the 70s pro stock cars were...
