Lightweight plastic headlights. Billet/aluminum carburetor. Switch to the 1970-72 Duster/Demon doors if staying with steel units. If you really want to stick with the correct 1973+ doors you'll have to cut out the crash beams out of them.

I saw a magaizne spread of that car once a few years back and have been in love ever since! A "multi-colored & rusted" 1973/74 Duster funny car with the external bits to make it appear more authentic was a huge bonus in my book.

The .010 seconds & 1 mph advantage these new Mopar bodies have over the previous ones sadly still wont be close to enough to catch Edwards. Of course that doesn't keep me from :director: at the TV everytime one of the Mopars are on the line and going down the strip. Long live Mopar!

Why not? People will remember the burnout, very few will remember the E.T. it ran. I do JF style burnouts in everything. My fastest run in the hot rod truck was a 14.00. It was slow, but everyone liked to watch it because I did silly burnouts.
