wow - good job. From the pics, you'd never know that you swapped the tail panel and painted it. Do you have any pics of the actual swapping of the tail panel? When it was apart?

:worthles: Lol - i did the same thing with my 73 Space duster - except I turned mine into a 71 Demon clone. I have the entire front clip on the car, but I have yet to do the tail panel - that's still sitting in my attic. I also bought a 5.7 hemi to replace the original 318.

I disagree that it's beyond repair - it'll just be a lot of work. I've seen cars in a lot worse condition being sold as resto projects. Those rear frame rails can be replaced just like any other panel on the car - don;t think it'll take any more "fabrication" than any other panel either...

Nice dude! I have the same project going right now. I have a 68 w/ 73 K-member and discs, 8 3/4 rear, and dropping in a 440. The good thing is I'm in PA, about 10 minutes from the Eastwood showroom and warehouse. I can just drive up the street and pick up their stuff! I'm going to mini tub...
