I have the California mufflers with the quiet disc in them straight out of the headers. Sounds incredible, runs fantastic and no clearance or weight added. I'll stay with them. Every time I hit the key and it rumbles to life, I get that feeling of pure bliss!!!

I don't like the crossover cause it usually captures the tranny. Think I'll leave it alone. Thanks

What are your opinions on these in an exhaust system. My old time Mopar mechanic doesn't feel there are any benefits and installs exhaust systems without them.

    California customs header muffler

Installed these mufflers with the quietest disc on my Dougs headers. Sound amazing but still very loud when you rev it. Going down the road at 65 they are fine. If I get stopped I'm going to tell the officer it isn't any louder than all the straight piped Harleys running around town!!!

Moved the arm to a good place but the stud that the clutch rod attaches to is on the side of the header and doesn't clear the header so now I have to move that to the other side. dougs headers dont clear my z-bar clutch linkage

Installing my 408 in my 1970 dart with an 833 4 speed. Got the drivers side Doug header in. My clutch linkage is sitting against the inside of the header. It will move but is touching the tube. It is the end that connects the clutch fork to the zbar. Can I not use the spacer that connects the...
