    I understand that head flow is measured in cfm.And that valve lift opens flow. But how is the cfm measured and what is the common water collum used.Is there some kind of air flow meter that a laptop reads? Maybe a walkthru the layman could understand.

    This may minutely help or may not.I read many pages back that plug gap was .035. If you have an aftermarket ignition I would think you could open up the gap another .010. My stroker loves it.

    Anyone here ever have their pistons machined?

    Wont you have to completely disassemble the block ie new gaskets and added labor pluss the decking.I would think new slugs would be cheaper. Should be cheap to have pistons installed

    This thread scares me as my whole top end is comp with pro magnum rockers. Car doesnt get many miles and I have been checking lash every couple hundred miles. Hoping if lifters start going south I will catch it due to lash change.

    I have used brass shim stock cut in squares with a hole drilled thru the center to shim the rocker shafts up whats taken off the heads. Brass because it easily forms the crescent in the pedestal when bolted down.

    If you use aluminum heads, waterpump, intake, ministarter and headers you wont gain much.

    no oil to heads.

    There are notches in the end of the shafts. Passenger side notch goes to the rear and drivers side to the front. This is an easy way to remember. Its the road runner way. rr= right rear. drivers side is then opposite so its to the front.
