Me too! Im addicted to them now! Im still learning how to tune them. Next I want to learn how to rebuild them. It's a lost art these days not many "techs" my age or younger know how to build a good carb. I want to get really prolific with them.

I wish I could go but I gotta work. Maybe next year.

So far im loving these magnum manifolds. They look some what factory and its super easy to get to the plugs. Im glad I went this route vs headers.

I was surprised how well it fit i was expected to have to cut and weld it but it worked perfectly.

If anyone is considering doing magnum manifolds on your car while your at the junkyard pulling the manifolds snag the downpipe too. I was having some clearance issues on the drivers side causing issues with the kickdown linkage. So I got the bright idea of using the downpipe off my 2001 ram...

I used this vht high temp spray it works good coats good. I need to reapply it in a few spots its getting thin and starting to rust but it hasn't discolored or burnt off yet. Im happy with it.

He showed me how to make them myself but I ended up not needing them the straight collector worked just fine for me.

Mine came off a 01 ram 1500 with a 5.9 They where sandblasted and painted with that vht header paint

Early abodes are clearly tighter. You can see a big difference between mine (1975) and Valkman (1964)

It's a universal one. Splines on one end smooth on the other and I welded it on.

They will work don't let ppl tell you they won't. Everyone told me they wouldn't and im hard-headed and didn't listen and they worked fine for my application. Now in certain situations im sure it may be a different story but for me they fit fine

I would convert it to manual steering and use the magnum manifolds before I would use headers. It would be cheaper and probably easier. If the power steering is really a clearance issue with the magnums.

Im running magnum manifolds. They fit great. I am using manual steering with a floor mounted automatic. I don't think power steering would make much difference but I don't think that a column shifted auto or a linkage (zbar) manual transmission would work. The tightest spot is on the drivers...

Ok so we finally have the results. Lol this is the crap that came out of 20 year old mufflers! Lol there was a whole mouse skeleton, some mouse nest, some chicken feathers, lol funny stuff! Sounds good tho.

I got my magnum manifolds on Facebook market place for 35 bucks and they where already cleaned and painted. If they don't fit in my dart for some reason I will use them for something I have plenty of small block mopar engines I could put them on for 35 bucks I will use them eventually lol

The advantage for me is I happen to have a set of magnum manifolds and I don't have a set of abody manifolds. I have a set if headers but I am not sure if I want to use them or not. I like the look manifolds and they are more convenient than Headers

Did it clear the steering shaft? I have an auto and did a floor conversion so I striped all the linkages from the column im a little concerned about the clearance between the manifold and the steering shaft. It looks to me like the op has his offset the bearing is in front of the bore. I don't...

Thanks man that is the plan eventually. I still have a lot to do before i put it on the road even when the engine is broke in. That is at the top of the list. Moparmandan sent me one on jegs thats a good deal

Yea that's what I want to do eventually.

That's kinda what I was thinking too. The tailpipes are 21/4 I'd like to run 21/2 at some point i just dont have the money to redo the entire exhaust atm.

They are already in the car have been since about 2003 or so haha
