    74 power wagon dream truck...

That is a very good point. Functionality is more important than looks.... I guess. Lol I like the a body one you pictured I wish they would make something like that, that had the original looking gauges too. I don't like all the digital stuff in classic cars. I agree the old gauges suck and are...

    74 power wagon dream truck...

Wow that is so clean! Nice work. You are doing an amazing job. If I may say? The only thing I would change is the gauges I think the original gauge cluster is one of the most attractive gauges dodge ever produced. I would use the original style gauges.

    My Dart Swinger Project!

Yea thats exactly what I want to do.! I already replaced the starter in this car once and It would have been impossible if I had a permanent exhaust system. Right now I just have a temporary exhaust. I have the down pipes the two pieces of flex tube from the down pipe to the mufflers. I want to...

    My Dart Swinger Project!

I was having some clearance issues with the drivers side down pipe hitting the kickdown linkage. So I got the bright idea id use the factory downpipe off the white ram truck. So I cut the bolts and cut the pipe about right in the middle of the crossover and it fit perfectly. It comes out right...

    71 hemi orange swinger rescue.

Those dang things can be stubborn. I broke one of the exhaust studs off in my head I tried everything ended up having to drill it and retap it. I managed to get it centered enough that I didn't have to go up a size in thread just drilled out the the old bolt and cleaned out the threads

    71 hemi orange swinger rescue.

Great work bud! Glad its running. You can get that broken bolt out! Take a nut and thread it on and weld it on the top. Heat around the hole and it will come out. I like to heat around the bold then spray some penatrate then reheat again then try to ease it out.

    My Dart Swinger Project!

I did have to file and sand a little to get them to set perfectly flat when I welded them. There was maybe an 1/8 gap. But everything when your fabricating has to be "fitted" lol

    My Dart Swinger Project!

Here are the union parts I used. And I had my original driveshaft shortened 2 inches i believe. The local shop did it for me. They also installed new u-joint sandblasted and painted everything for like 150 bucks.

    My Dart Swinger Project!

I used moroso perches i can get you a part number if you need it. For the shock plates I used standard 8 3/4 plates I just had to wallow the holes out some to get the u bolts to fit.
