Not excited about these two drips. And possibly the 90* filter, which I tighten the piss out of. All bolt washers and gaskets where on correctly btw. I remember using cometic gaskets on my other 340 and that took care of it. Any other suggestions? Sure hoping that snugging the intake manifold...

Entertaining guy and way more knowledge than I’ll ever have on mopars.

First time using Ez-LOKs. Couple things I learned. The thread locker compound is ****. It made it so hard to thread the lok that I stripped the notches. Once I removed it and added fresh red thread locker it went in easy. Flushed it to the head and it barely looks repaired. Now to clean up...

Parts washer with the purple stuff. Then wire wheel. Evaporust bucket for the rusty stuff. Have a left over baby bottle cleaner I fill with vinegar for small rusty stuff. Works great. Works like the crockpot idea.

Started in on replacing an exhaust stud. Let it drain and vacuumed out as much coolant as possible before I tap for an EZ-LOK.

I figure 80-90s when I look at OLDER restorations from that time period. Ive used it before and it’s tough to make it look really good. The painless stuff (or similar) looks better imo. That’s understandable. The engine harness wire wrap stuff from Painless Performance looks nice and would allow access to wires. Looks clean. Little spendy for a complete kit. Thinking of using it when I wire my 68’ swept.

I could do without the belittling condescension. The guys in the shop seem like really good people. I like seeing the work performed. They did a very nice job on the Duster. Maybe they’ll do a 68-69 Dart one day. I’ll tune in more for that. B/E body stuff gets boring after a while.

Hellwig sway bar installed. Such an easy install. Looks good IMO. Found one little leak on brake caliper. Tightened that up. Stainless steel lines are ***** sometimes. Praying that does the trick.

That’s a big spread. I’ve spent a lot of time Rock climbing around the Russellville area. Beautiful country but muggy and buggy for sure.
