Does it have the hole for clutch switch? Maybe heavy duty for 72 and up

I make the correct A body shifter mounting bracket.

When they are adjusted correctly and you know how to drive 4 speed they are awesome. Down shifting is not a problem at all. The Ramrod I believe is a way better shifter.

January 2 1968 Chrysler started using hurst shifters again. 68 A body hurst shifter handles is an half year only shifter handle.

I ended up using the one that came with it. 1/4 inch spacer and move the holes in.

I tried using a stock one from early a and 68 and up they both do not work. The easy a fork bracket, the fork is in to far and up

After searching here I think I need to use a stock fork pivot

Got the pressure plate back nothing wrong with it. So I shimmed out the bracket and that work with angle but notice the throw out bearing is not centered.

Who is running a Quicktime bell on a small block Question is what fork pivot are you using. Throw out bearing not center to pressure plate forks

I have all 3 but stilll does not help on what the shorter on fits. I personally thinks it’s for January of 68 a bodies.

I have only seen the 7036 shape for 69 to 74ish(I know they change it from a slip in to a bolt on) then they change handle to bend up. As far as the 5973 is a shorter shifter handle but I do not know what its correct for.

Hurst 4 speed shifter handles 7036 and 5973 fit (bucket or bench)??? Need a little help here. The 7036 I am more familiar with most 69 to 70 possible early 71 What is the 5973 fit. Is it the 68 half year hurst shifter handle?

I called McLeod and they said that the had a run of them with the fingers to short. They said to send it back and they will take care of it. Bummer

it could be the B&B pressure plate I guess

The only difference is the dice is 10.95. the flywheel is 10.5 yes I used the A body bracket
