Agreed...not hard... but what I am asking for is the size of the “push on nut washer” I know how to install them... prob is local hardware place does have any sizes that fit... hence why I need the size.

I thought so too... the sizes I keep finding locally (home depot, lowes, ace, napa, pep boys) all are either slightly too big to clamp good or too small to fit over the mounting point... Figured I would try to get a size from someone on the board that worked for them. I've seen them on Ebay...

No they are not.... Not sure what that has to do with anything regarding a source for the retaining washer... but they are not on the car.

I cut the retaining washers... I DID NOT cut the studs or the hinges...

I need some help finding the correct fastener to attached hood hinges on my Demon's. They attached with a push on washer which I simply cut off when I tore the car down. I've measured the locating pins and tried getting them at hardware store, but they all I could find was larger or smaller...

So I have done a bunch of good searches and have still come up with nothing on how to mount the mirror cable on a Dodge Demon door. Can anyone WITH A DODGE DEMON shed some light on this for me? Thanks

I appreciate the extra pics... but they don't help for a Demon as I originally asked. The Demon remote is up in the metal top frame of the door... not in the door panel like on your 75 Duster.. Can anyone else chime in on a Demon installation. Thx

Does that hole go through the exterior of the door? (into the front jamb) or is it in the bracing? I have felt up inside the door and can't find a hole anywhere nor is there any bracing that I can feel... mine is on a 71 demon, so no open top door frames like on a 75..

I just order had to order a window kit for one of my projects. A 72 Demon, not sure though if the doors are original. So ordered the a 71 kit and a 72 kit. They definitely have serval different parts in each of them. So obviously MOPAR made some slight changes between 71 & 72.

It's actually not possible to do roll up windows in the rear. There is a structural u-channel that goes up through the roof pillar that would need to be removed in order to get a roll down window to work due to the size of the window opening. So this is a dead project for me.

well since you need to cut out the angled water shed pc in the very first picture I'm not sure how you would access it from the inside of the car. maybe by locating the spot welds and drilling them through? But you can't do anything till this pc is gone so you have room for the window.

So I took a field trip today to pick up some parts for what I think will be a good start point for this attempt. Best part was the guy has several and had some still in the car with the 1/4 off so I could see how the glass travels. The pics are of glass in a 70 Chevelle, the parts I picked up...

I already have a glass company who does this type of work… so no luck needed on that one. All I need to do is supply them with a lexan template… The glass crazy enough is the easy part of this equation.

Thanks… I will keep that in mind. I have a set already on the shelf from a 73 Dart that I am going to try to start with. I'm also looking into Nova & Chevelle tracks since that actually move the glass down and tilt it at the same time, which I think will be key to getting the glass to function...

I'll have to look at a picture of a Nova… it might be similar to a Chevelle. I know the Chevelle side window is actually a little smaller than the Demon glass. The track is also designed to lower the front faster and deeper than the rear. Which I think is something that is needed to pull it...
