I had to have a shop press out the old studs when I changed mine. I had two brand new drums with cylinders that I tossed because no body wanted them because of shipping costs.

Are you using a kit, junk yard parts, or a combo of parts? When I did mine I used the spindles calipers and rotors off of a 74 dart with a master cylinder for a 85 5th ave (if you use one like that you have to use an adapter and be sure its machined for the push rod keeper bushing and make sure...

well my co worker forgot his vacuum bleeder so im going to try my solo method with a jar and see if its any different outcome than gravity bleeding the system.

Correct. The peddle gets spongie after bleeding the front right caliper.

I think you may have mistake caps for the plugs that take the place of the lines. I ment the caps that cap off the mc res.

Hoses aren't twisted and the piston motion seems good. I test fitted the pads to caliper but ill pull it and double checks it for problems. The pads and rotors are new.

The front calipers are mounted with the bleeders towards the front and lines to the rear, the rear shoes are adjust out to contact the drum with a little drag. That exactly how I've done it in the past. be sure to coat the threads of the bleeder screws with wheel bearing grease.

I bought a might vac bleeder once and it was junk. Never worked then I made my jar and did mine solo with it.
