I left the one on my filler tube alone. Then took a line from the tank vent and the fuel pump vent into the plastic Y in your picture. Then the single line out of the Y to the aluminum vent in your picture. Mounted it up high on the rear sub frame.

I have run the Holley Sniper for two years and have had no problems with it except one issue from me not setting it up correctly. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones but I have not had to make any adjustments at all on it. Bolted it on, let it learn, turn learn off and drive it.

Fuel Tank Venting

I used one of these. Made a bracket and mounted up on the inside of the rear frame rail. Remote Mount Rollover Vent Valve

I have the Sniper unit on mine and the harness does have the fuel pump on a relay built in. I ran it with the FiTech external pump when I first got it and had nothing but problems with the pump.

Looks like on the instructions that you just hook a line from the pump to the pick up on the tank?

Why not just use the pick-up line on the sending unit?

I have no idea how long mine had sat but expected the worse. Dropped the tanks and it was spotless, blew the lines like you said, replaced the fuel filter and called it good. Test your sender and if its ok I'd use it.

I installed mine with the -8AN line and went with a 1/2 sender. Figured if I was buying a new sender anyways (was only 5/16) I'd go with the larger one. Still use the fuel line even though I went in-tank pump. I have the like new sender still. Pm me if interested.

No sure on the brand but it is 6AN push loc hose. The id of the 1/4 npt to 6AN is .29 if that helps..

I have almost the same setup as you. 408 525+ hp. I run the same tanks inc pump and fittings with 6AN feed and the factory line as the return and have no issues at all, works great.

No sure, I used the cheap Tanks inc one too and my gauge is off. It was off with my factory tank and sender and off with a new factory style sender so I can't say it's a sender problem without doing more testing.
