looked at the headliner today, I knew it was torn. it's coming out anyway, for repair or replace. Reason for the question is.. I have the rods and clips for a 70 cloth headliner and a new headliner vs recover the cardboard one

There is no telling what has been done to this car, has also been converted to 4 speed, buckets are gone replaced with bench.

Can a 70 swinger Card board headliner, be replaced with the cloth headliner / rods. from another 70 swinger ?
