    this was back in >>>08 went with different valves, springs, retainers and locks. of course the heads are ported when swapping the engine to the Dart, looked at the bearings >> fine put it back together

    Well- that would motivate me to finish parting it out...lol on the mounts- I made the biscuit mount out of bar stock to look like a rubber mount, they unbolt can use the rubber mounts in it's place

    stock will fit, just doesn't sit as deep into the pan. went out and got a pic the left - 19" long (truck>rear sump) middle- milodon 13" (center sump / deep sump) right -stock 12" (center sump - stock)

    I had that same pan in a 68 Satellite. it is now going into a 72 Swinger like the deeper sump for drag racing. I don't run a windage tray because it has a girdle instead

    they are Max Wedge manifolds when the 540 was in the 68 Satellite when put into the dart had to swap sides to clear the steering and master cylinder ( also move 3" to the outside) and clear the heater motor

    I run a .590 lift, in my 540 > 72 dart only clearance issue was with the oil pick up tube, vs the rod bolt max ported the 440 source heads (built in 08) plus .050 retainers / some valve guide clearance

    yea, they are heavy steering, oil pan, and exhaust clearance are tight that's a nice body, would hate to cut it up to fit the 354 I put one in a truck years ago

    You can get a water pump housing to come out either side As I built the 540 other things got in the way I ended up using a housing with the inlet on the passengers side 26" Radiator was for a small block, with AC, out of a Fury
