? Im confused. Yes it runs very well. THe intake manifold was actually warped very badly. New intake is on and it runs great. Now the hlley is having an issue, so i out thethermoquad on.

Do you prefer them over the holley and demon style carburetors?

How do they do that? Are they rebuildable?

My holley is having issues still in one of the miture screws. I think i may get a 650 for it. Your right a 780 is too big. I had to switch to my thermoquad, which is also too big. 850cfm

Hey buddy you still interested in the intake?? haha! I actually re measured the other side of the intake and it was warped bad. Like .030 at least. Its warped on the side of the welded water jacket. I think he got it too hot and it warped the metal... Heres the new one installed on the car...

Ok heres the proof i guess. I set a straight edge on the lower part of the intake making sure that it was straight across and not swaying up or down. Here is what i got. I was able to get a .010 feeler gauge in between it with ease and my flashlight in behind. The first pic is on the PASSENGER...

Actually now that I'm looking at the intake, I don't think it's cracked. I'm not really seeing a crack visibly. I think it may be warped.

So it turns out it was the intake manifold being cracked underneath. I went and got a new intake and put it on. Fired right up. All 8 cylinders running good and the carburetor can adjust like it should!

I agree man. That's why I jot down everyone's ideas and they're going to be tried out today!

I have all 8 plugs the same. Remember I replaced the 2 dead cylinders with different plugs to see if it would make any difference.
