hey gang! I was curious on what is the tallest/widest tire can go on a 4" wide rim? Its a street car with a small block. Always street driven. 73 swinger. It has 325/50-15's in the back if that matters. Thanks guys!

i have 255/60-15's on my 70 swinger with stock steel mopar wheels, redrilled small bolt 8.75 and drum brakes. i trimmed the lip a little and have no issues. the car sits low too. when i went disc brakes and bbp dr. diff axles, i had to trim the lip more because of the offset change in the axles...

dart sport has open wheel wells... much different than a swinger. i had stock length 8.75, and drum brakes. i went to bbp axles/disc brakes, and the moved the wheel/tires out a bit. it started rubbing on the wheel lip. i took the lip down to the trim screws. no issues after that.

i had 15x7 rim 255/60-15 out back and 15x5.5 rim 205/60-15 in the front. rims are factory mopar wheels.

anyone run these tires with a 5" rim? hoosier says 4'' max rim width. i have a 5" rim. just curious if anyone has run these on a wider rim. i will most likely be running tubes in them too. the car will see the track maybe twice a year and street driven the rest.... thanks!

its all in the prep! if you do it right and take your time, you will not have to worry about your paint coming off during tire installation... i spray bombed mine with fantastic results! everyone thinks they are powder coated gloss black!

sweet car man, but it looks like your rear tires are on the wrong sides...(rotation is wrong)... im not dogging you i just thought u should know.
