i have a 72 demon with a 340 and i just replaced the intake and the carb on it and now my fuel pump...mechanical...started leaking at the top of the round seal any ideas why this would happen. i put an eddy air gap and an eddy 750 and fired it up and like i said the fuel pump...i believe to be...

and what i ment about sounding good and running good was it sounds extremely loud which is good to me...they have installed headers and purple hornets under it and kicked out the exhaust just before the rear tires now it just needs to match that scream with a little bit of power

and as far as the cam that is in it...and carb and intake.....it was done by the previous owner and was last worked on in 84 so needless to say the intake might be alright but i just dont think its what im looking for....i plan on changing the heads intake carb rearend possibly the cam if it is...

so i make pretty good money as i work on a drilling rig in texas now and have been doing so for a few years and i really have lost any knowledge about most of this stuff years ago so any advice about what would make this car all but stand up on 2 wheels would be much appreciated

well i wanna make it turn heads everywhere i go and make sure its got the power to blow peoples minds lol but street legal but just barely lol and it has a 727 in it i already know that the rearend needs to be replaced and im trying to figure out what it sounds amazing but has no power it feels...

and....lol.....for that matter what would be a good eddy carb i was looking at the 650 thunder avs or possibly the 750 performer

well i never checked the clearance but the dominator and holley combo under there now has an one in spacer....correct me if im wrong but wouldn't a eddy carb bolt right up to the air gap

thanks to all my motor is not stock by anymeans but i thought i heard that the single bore was a bad choice for it....if anyone is interested in it i will be putting up a thread as soon as i get a new one.....ive been looking at the air gap manifold for quite awhile...

i have a 71 340 and it currently has a holley street dominator for the intake manifold.... i have heard these are great for clearance for under the hood but also heard there are much better intakes is there anyone here that has and knowledge about these

yeah mine is factory choke had to mod the car for ele choke

just not a big fan.....btw it was sitting since 84 and just recently got it running again

well its on a 71 340 with a 727 but the rear end is a stock 7 1/4 .....changing that soon....but it has been converted to an electric choke and sits on top of a holley street demon intake which is a single plain intake and that in its own might be the reason for the "lag" it has a hard time...

just doesnt give me the power i was expecting and iv never been much of a fan of holley guess its just my opinion.... if anyone wants it make me an offer
