I made my own brackets to get the optimum seating position and had the seats covered in Pearl White to match the factory interior. Quite comfortable and keep you in position when used with the full harness on track days.

Mike that's awesome! That's going to be a little tire burner, sounds great. I don't know where you find these things and the time it takes to do what you do with them. Might want to change out that single reservoir master before its to late. Ask me how I know that.

I have the Borgeson box with the Bergman coupler in my 66 Cuda with Dougs headers no issues at all. Engine is tied down.

I saw some NOS ones on ebay the other day. They wanted $50.00 a piece if I recall.

No problem, glad I could help. I should add I use the stock mounts, right side modified to accept the 340 block. I have heard the Shumacher mounts position the engine a little bit different than the stock mounts but in what way I am not certain or if it would effect fitment of the box and coupler.

Well thats interesting, I have the Borgeson box and the Bergman coupler and the D450 Dougs in my 66 and they fit fine, no contact with the headers at all. Been in there for 4 years. What engine mounts are you using?

Im running 17X8 rears with 245/45/17 tires on my 66 Cuda with a stock width rear end.

Doug's fit power steering cars no problem, I think column shift is an issue though. They aren't that big of a deal to install with the engine in, a bit of patience and some flex sockets goes a long way!

No problem, glad to help. I have 2 1/2"exhaust and it clears no problem. You will have to notch your trans cross member on the right side to gain ground clearance for your exhaust.

Hi Rod, I basically used the later set up front to back. I think i ordered a 68 primary cable, cable from park brake handle to spliter at back, and ran the 68 rear cables from the spliter to the rear brakes. I drilled a hole on an angle at the front of the frame connector to run the primary...

If your running frame connectors and it looks like it in the pictures, I think you will find you will want to convert the park brake cable set up to the 1967 and up single style to help clear the frame connectors.

His are correct, the pictures you provided are of a newer style set up with the tabs on the top of the control arm.
