    Discolored raised white letters

Thank you the whitewalls on my Fury are dingy, tried many products and nothing gets them white. They are a brand-x tire, makes me believe the quality is lacking.

Here is a new look for me! Tell me what u think.

I like it and kudos for doing it on a small budget. Changing the stance is debatable, personally I'd leave it alone.

    Plastidipped my wheels

    Looks good to me.

Unofficial Vote on Wheel tire combo

Between the two choices, steelies for sure. Rallye's came out in 1970 I believe, that being said they can look good on early a's but not always.

    13 inch 5x4 go larger

You can find 14's much easier and much cheaper than 15's and you'll be surprised at what a difference even they make, you might be satisfied.

    Cragars on a 1972 Swinger

I don't know anything about those wheels in particular except that they are a heavier wheel. Do you like the way your car handles now? I would be curious why he's selling them. Your car sits lower in back than his so I would pay extra attention to clearance there. Also look closely at the tires...

Need your opinions on jeep rims

I know how it feels to want new wheels and have limited funds...but no...your Barracuda is beautiful and those wheels are just so blantantly Jeep Cherokee wheels...do you really want everyone who sees your car to think, 'hmm, Grand Cherokee wheels...' In my opinion they will make your car look...

    Keystones?

Good, your Dart looks great the way it is...save your money for something it really needs.

    Finding Wheels?

Just my $.02 from experience, live with the car for a while and take some time figuring out what rims you want. It's easy to get over-excited when you first get your car and make hasty purchases. A lot of rims that look good on 2-doors look cheesy on 4-doors.

    66 valiant 14x7

Aren't the rear wheelwells on a wagon a little bigger than non-wagons? Anyway on my '65 fish the tires scrubbed against the wheel opening lip with 14x7's till I replaced the leaf springs.

White letters - in or out on Rallye Rims ??

IMO sometimes the only way to decide is to try them both ways. On your car, they do look better out. But on mine, letters out just didn't look right. Your Dart Sport really looks great with the whole combo you have going.

    Conquest wheels on my Duster

Good looking wheels, they compliment the look of your Duster very well.

    Wheels adapter

No I'm almost sure those won't work. 4" bolt circle is not exactly 100mm, even though you can get the adapter on there, it being slightly wrong it puts a strain on the metal. Risky to do this. I bet you will find a lot of good advice if you go to the wheels and tires forum here and search...

    my 20 dollar makeover

Looks good, not too much or too little. It's a good feeling put a little time and effort and get a nice result.

Which color Bullitt wheels would look best?

Definately black. Chrome is too much bling, silver would be nice on a solid silver car, "anthracite" just say no lol.

New Wheels for my '69 Dart!

The best possible choice you could have made IMO.

    new tires=bad gas mileage

I noticed the same thing when I went from skinny 13"ers to wider, taller 14's. If anyone remembers the gas crisis in 1973, the car makers put skinnier tires on some of the new cars to help gas mileage.

    What wheels can I use

Oh, btw the studs on the left side of the car are left-hand threads. Make sure you and anyone else remembers this. You don't want to twist the studs off by turning lug nuts the wrong way. It happens all the time, especially at tire stores.

    What wheels can I use

For the wheels to fit, the holes must be in the 4" bolt circle also known as small bolt pattern (sbp) which Chrysler used on a-bodies til the early '70's. Your options to upgrade while retaining your sbp front hubs and rear axles include 14" stock steel wheels, or vintage or new aftermarket...

show off your old school slot mags.

Mine bought from an FABO member. I love them. Can't find any center caps. That's ok because I enjoy telling the nit-pickers who say 'too bad the center caps are missing' that I DON'T CARE haha!!!

They make all the difference....great choice!

    15's on a 63 Valiant

I went with the same +1" ESPO springs too, after about 6 months they haven't settled much, and they raise the back a little high for my taste too, but I got used to it. Best thing to do is just be happy; there's no way to know for sure how it will look til it's done, and your car looks great...

    what wheels?

The Cragars weigh considerably more if I'm not mistaken, if that matters to you.
  24. goldfish65

    16" magnum 500s or 15"/17" Cragar eliminator 500s?

My opinion, Magnums, Ralley's or steelies 14's or 15's. They will always look right...in a few years those larger wheels and other styles might look dated or even cheesy.

    Can "Wonky" wheels be fixed?

Good to know they were fine on your Dart, since I love these wheels. I will get them rebalanced and hopefully that'll help. 68Dartfan is a great guy to deal with...sent me the wheels beautifully polished even...he's one of many members who has helped me along the way with Goldie.

    66 Valiant Seized Lugs?

It's true. Gosh I feel old, back when I was growing up everyone knew Chrysler products used the left-hand threads on the left side of the car. But I guess that was a long time ago lol.

    Can "Wonky" wheels be fixed?

I recently changed my wheels to aluminum slot mags that have some age on them. I had new tires mounted...and noticed the tire shop added many, many balancing weights. Especially on one wheel, which leads me to believe these wheels are not true. At highway speeds the vibration is noticeable and...

Need a guy who can polish aluminum wheels. (central florida)

Just today a guy at the tire shop told me that truck stops usually have someone who polishes aluminum.
  29. goldfish65

    Are 14 inch rims obsolete?

Keep the 14" wheels especially since you already have sbp brakes, and get some meaty tires. Your car will not look wimpy. The large rims may fall out of favor in a few years and look very dated. These are 205-70 14's. I have since remounted the tires so the raised white letters don't show...
