The guy said he didn't have to do any mods other than motor mounts to get that 1st gen hemi in his early a body, so not sure why it wouldn't work with a 3rd gen if there's clear evidence somebody made it work with a 1st gen. Then again, I don't know if there are significant size/design changes...

I've seen somebody shoehorn a 1965 Hemi in a early a body, if I could easily post a pic here I would but apparently that would make too much sense. I'll try to post a link to it.
