    Thank you for the replies gentlemen. I guess I'll stick with my 741 case and my small bolt axles. Should be around 400 hp from my 340. Sounds like my rearend stuff should hold up fine. Thanks again, everyone.

    Hey guys, just curious what you thought about small bolt pattern 8 3/4 axles. At what horsepower would you need to upgrade to bbp or aftermarket axles? Especially for a 4-speed car! Thanks in advance for any replies!

    1970 Dart 340 / 4-speed driveshaft question

    I have an extra one off of my 70 340 dart. It is 52 5/8" as well and also has the same slip yoke that you are describing. Not sure if it's original or not. Anybody?
