i'm stumped on this k-frame. i have two 340 cars that i could look at but i thought someone might know here in FABO.

i purchased this k-member some years ago thinking that it was for a big block 383/440 but a member here on FABO is pretty sure it is not. do any of you recognize this? i don't think it's for a 6 cylinder - i think it might be a small block k-member.

the 340 was a "new" motor for the 1968 model year for Dodge and Plymouth. that motor WAS NOT available in ANY Chrysler product prior to the release of the 1968 models in late August early September of 1968. because the 340 was a new motor, i believe Chrysler established a dedicated production...

i don't want to be disrespectful here but if i received a reply like the one above for a camshaft that had to be "perfect" from an "engineering" perspective, i would tell that company - "thanks, but no thanks." obviously, camshafts must be ground to extreme close tolerances to be correct...

hey scatpackbee.... well my 340 barracuda of which the stock manual 4 speed cam is intended for has been put on the back burner while my M-Code 69 Cuda is being worked on. that car is down at American Metal Direct right now and it's taking up all my "muscle car" time and effort presently...

hey guys... thanks for the advice... oil level is fine in the motor. i have a nice OEM 340 pan with a factory windage tray. i'll try swapping the pans. if i drop the pan on the present motor and there is no windage tray, that may be the problem. i'll also check the oil pump to see if it is...
