THANK YOU AAndrews for your pictures. yes, i was referring to the Formula S Rally dash. after i posted my comment to CudaDad on the restoration of his car by GYC's and what i felt was a "mistake" in the dash, i realized that the "basic" dash was the one in his car. i have looked through the...

Cuda Dad - i watched tonight's new GYC's episode (S15-Ep24) to see the assembly of your car. It does look absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! i did see something that just made me "cringe" because of the money and TIME you have spent on this car - and the detail really kind of made me "sick" for a moment...

a friend of mine told me about me and my car showing up on You tube. i had no idea someone was doing videos of the car cruise i went to in Bridgeville, PA the red 62 Corvette is owned by a very nice older gentleman that we hang out with and the gold 69 Z/28 behind the Corvette is a retired...

i am so glad your car is FINALLY getting finished at GYCs!! i watched the episode and Mark did speak politely and kindly about your car. i will not comment on how much "time" has passed on your car. i can only imagine that you don't want to even think about that. but congrats on your car...

i'm sorry you went through such an ordeal with your car. having it on GYC's seemed like a cool thing "8 years ago" - but it has turned into a nightmare for you. i imagine you are paying Worman a fair amount for this build but you probably could have found several shops that would have done...

i love watching GYC's and i am glad that Worman is out there restoring old mopars. however, it is abundantly clear that he DOES NOT want to do A-body mopars. that's fine - but he should just tell A-body guys to take their cars to another shop. now that GYC's has been going strong for some 14...

i imagine the black wheels are just temporary to move the car around. Worman always paints the OEM wheels the same color as the car. however, the owner may want different wheels other than OEM steel wheels.

i'm glad GYC is still working on your car. i miss their show every week. i hope the covid thing doesn't cancel the show permanently. july 31 of 2020 isn't that far away so please keep posting any progress pictures you get from Mark. i have been gathering parts for my 69 M-Code Cuda and hope...

please FABO folks correct me if i'm wrong - but i recall ALL Barracuda dash assemblies had completely chrome center caps 1967-1969. the 1970 Duster dash is the same as the Barracuda, however, it had the black center caps.

i have watched GYC regularly since it first started 10 years ago. i have 4 Barracuda's in my collection, 2 68's and 2 69's. i am working on one of the 69's right now as it is an original M-Code 440 Cuda fastback. i hope to have that car on the road for this summer. i am growing concerned...

my M-Code 69 Cuda is finished at AMD and i'm now making arrangements for shipping back to Pittsburgh. AMD had my car for over a year primarily due to lack of parts and some other "unique" issues that required me to buy an entire body shell to use as a part's car. i could see Graveyard Carz...

Insight into Painting My 1968 Barracuda

naturally, you can build your car any way you want... but you might consider that chrysler spent millions of dollars on their "final designs" for their production cars. if your car is going to be closer to "stock", you probably want to keep "stock" stripes on it. if your car is going to be...

    Finally got my M-Code Cuda

hey gerald... thanks for the heads up on the fuel filler tube. i have read stories about issues around filler tubes. i was very serious about buying a good donor car from out west and have it shipped to AMD to use for parts but craig thought it would be easier for them to just install new...

    Finally got my M-Code Cuda

i my conversation with craig at AMD he told me that he had taken a trip to Taiwan (i believe) to set up a production source for repo parts. he told me that they had put in a large order for 67-69 barracuda quarter panels and planned to keep a number of them in stock once they arrive. he also...

hi mopar92... i fully appreciate what you are saying. when i saw the M car i just bought had been cut up and made into a drag car i almost started crying. but give me a minute to try and convince you that i'm not committing "Mopar Blasphemy" with my intended "the M-Code Plymouth should have...

    Finally got my M-Code Cuda

hey dave... you're right - the 340 and 383 formula S cudas automatic and 4 speeds and the "automatic only" 69 M-Code Cudas were equipped with 8 3/4 chrysler rear axles. the 440 and hemi 4 speed B body cars came with 9 3/4 Dana differentials. i'm going to build my M-Code like "what...

hey cuda dad... it's great that GYC is starting to work on your car. i also didn't realize it has been there for 2 years. i'm not to comfy with the above pic of them picking up the body with the roof ... but i guess they will fix anything they bend. i just bought a 69 fastback M-Code and got...

    Finally got my M-Code Cuda

hey 69383... the car is a real M-Code car with "M-Code" VIN on the dash and title. this car was raced in Super Stock for a number of years. it's hard for me to understand why someone would take a rare M-Code and cut it up for a drag car but that's what happened to this car. i had the guy i...

hey clifftt... thanks for the encouraging words. i've followed barracuda prices for over 8 years now. this car will be my 4th barracuda. it is very hard to find the right combination of decent car to start with; not too much "major" repairs; reasonable selling price; and final value after...

    Finally got my M-Code Cuda

After searching for some 5 years, I finally found a M-Code 69 Barracuda Fastback to add to my collection. I had a chance to buy one off of "Big Block Dave" here on FABO but I screwed around too much and ended up making him mad (which was entirely my fault). At any rate, my M-Code is on its way...
