i did the same thing but not to keep it mopar just cause i got the whole parts car for 150.00 and just turned rotors and rebuilt calipers they work great but if you want to go aftermarket those kits work well too but usually expensive

yeah it looks like that is what happened the drums have been drilled for bbp anyway if those are the same backing plates that have always been with those drums just having them machined out should work since the backing plate is what determines all the measurements for what shoes work with them...
