Different driveline angle on balancer to output shaft?

I didn't think of the rear bushing. I did check for play in the output shaft but couldn't get any. I'll use the dampener then, thanks.

Different driveline angle on balancer to output shaft?

Why would I be getting different readings on driveline angle between the balancer face and the trans out put shaft? Balancer shows -2* @ 88.1 but the output shaft shows -3* @ 87.0. WTH don't I understand. Which is correct?

    68 Barracuda steering column reassembly

Here is another pic I found of the back of the hub. When this goes over the collar, the collar slides between the hub bolts and the hub inner sleeve. The collar gets pinched in between there.

    68 Barracuda steering column reassembly

I don't think so, I believe as they are tightened, they pull up and pinch on the collar, locking the 2 together. When the hub goes over the collar the bolt heads slide down over the collar. That's why they need to be extremely loose.

    68 Barracuda steering column reassembly

Put the collar on the column and index it counter clockwise, I believe. Put the square head nuts through the backside of the hub and the nuts just started on the front of the hub. Just a few threads. Install the hub on the collar with the opening for the turn signal wires on the bottom, lined up...

Are you sure? My original service manual only covers auto on the column and 3 on the tree? I don't think it covers floor shift auto.

Hotchkis leaf issue, sits like 4x4.

Been on the ground for about 6 weeks now, no noticable drop as of yet. That includes me jumping in the trunk a couple times a week. The spring pic that 72blunblu posted from hotrod look way flatter than mine. I'll try hotchkis again this week. Never did hear back from them.

Hotchkis leaf issue, sits like 4x4.

So I took it all apart and double-checked. Everything looks correct, was relubricated and put back on without be tightened down. Everything moves freely and I'm having the same issue. Annoying know what this height is supposed to be? One at the mounting pad and one in the middle.

I can't get em to stay back. They'll rotate to the back but always return. Freind with the valiant just came over here are shots showing his under carriage. Same rear suspension set up as mine. His springs are way flatter and shackles point to the back.

Hotchkis leaf issue, sits like 4x4.

Everything is loose. Still sits the same. I can stand in the trunk or bounce and everything moves, the springs just rebound back to the height shown above. I sent hotchkis an email through their website a week ago. Haven't heard anything back yet. I'll call tomorrow.
