Doug Thorley Headers with SB Trick Flow Heads

Had to do the same. 414/360 with borgeson box, trick flow heads, mity mounts, 1.14 bars. So far I've massaged 5 of 8 tubes and bent the drivers header with a pipe in the collector.

Idk...I read Sanborns threads, big inch strokers and I have a buddy with a 408 that runs hotter than I think it should. Granted I plumbed into the#3 freeze plug due to header clearance. And I'm running spark plug boots and dei thermal barrier on the braided line. Also did the intake plumbing...

No leaks. Held a vacuum and pressure during mock up. No leaks on the Dyno! I did copper seal them though, just personal preference.

They are your design. Just in a .040 thickness. It was easier to say custom Cometics then repost all your changes. And didn't want to post pics because your name is associated with the part numbers in Cometics system.

It doesn't have any data listed. At the end of the run It pulls up the graph and the chart. And then you can print either from there. I'm currently at a parade. So Happy Independence Day!

Thanks for that. You'll notice I won't even type the "ridiculous" number. My intent was not to misconstrue and misinform. I should have taken a day to decompress and process everything. I was just relieved it held itself together and didn't flatten the cam. That was my end goal.

I agree, I'm appreciative for sure. That's why I had questions in the first place. That's also why I kept quoting you in my responses. I now you understand all this. So thank you for taking the time. I broke my own cardinal rule, "Do not speak on subjects, in which, you're not educated in" I...

That big number was a complete screw up and just me being misinformed. The manual weather entry tab in the Dyno was pre-populated with numbers, I thought those numbers were to convert to corrected at sea level. They weren't, they were just random numbers heldover from something else? I think the...

Weather station is being used not manual. Those are the numbers that were recorded by the weather station at the time of the pull. And it shows the adjustment for baro so its being corrected is my understanding.

Okay here we go. Thanks for your help. This would appear to me that this is corrected. I'm editing my original post to reflect this only. I was/am confused. Idk if my 510/520 was a earlier run but 2 of the pulls aren't saved or deleted. I can find a 2-4k pull that shows 518tq but that was with...

I see what you're saying. Maybe I missed it. There were tons of numbers fluctuating on that screen. I would have thought that the Dyno weather station was correct and current for altitude. All he did was make sure it was on his weather station and non corrected. He didn't play around with any...

I checked his weather station against the national weather service. His said 29.9 and NWS showed 30.0. Here's the page from the NOAA. You would know more than me. Also here is a current snap shot of pressure. And here's a current US map

Had it Dyno'd at AMS in FTC. US is in Loveland now but I don't think Scott is affiliated anymore, know sure.

I'm looking forward to the trick flow intake for sure. Even though it's a square bore copy of the M1 that I have. It won't have been molested by me, I think I screwed up that intake I have. I don't know why, just a feeling I have.

Anyway, I wasn't looking for accolades or LOLs or eye-rolling. At the end of the day, I just wanted to keep the engines insides from going to the outsides. The fact that it made 500/500 uncorrected, is just a bonus for me and I'm okay with that. It's not a race car anyway, it's going to be...

How would you correct for altitude twice? You have a choice of uncorrected which uses the current weather station data on hand or you can use a standard correction. And within that standard correction you can choose altitude. And to be honest, the change from 5200' to 850' isn't that much...

Yeah. I was wanting to get to 500/500 and the Dyno operator said his dyno was stingy compared to others. There's more on the table for sure. Maybe a super Victor without the 4 hole, a bigger carb, tuned properly and some Dyno headers will put up better numbers but mines gonna be just a driver...

I Dyno'd mine today! Spent yesterday getting it on the dyno stand and broken in. Made a couple 4k pulls today checking vitals, then changed the oil. This afternoon we made some 6K pulls. I should preface this with... My main objective was break in a solid flat tappet and not max power. I'm going...

    Vinyl Chrome for Fiberglass Bumper

Do you have any pictures of things you've done? How does it hold up to UV? What about rocks? The only good videos about easy chrome I've seen are published by Alsa, the manufacturer. All the rest are disappointing, that's why I ask.

    Vinyl Chrome for Fiberglass Bumper

I believe you want to use 'conform'. Whether it's vvivid, Avery Dennison, or arlon. I thought about a Spectra or cosmichrome paint process but it's about 5-600 bucks. Close to the same price but I thought the wrap would hold up better.

Yep 500 for both bumpers seamless. That's for appx 2.5 yards of material. Then he'll split the material long ways. So 2 sheets of appx 24" x 90".
