It sounds like there is a flow blockage... Check for flow through the heater core... Run a hose from one side and see if it come out the other...

Yep, that's normal "heat soak" after the engine is shut off...

When it starts to run hot when idling, try running the garden hose through the radiator to see if it cools down... If it does cool down, then the issue is you are not getting enough air flow through the radiator... Then you need to get more air to flow through the radiator... I agree with...

Do you have a fan shroud to help direct air through the radiator and not let it go around it??? Post some pictures of your set-up so we can see what you have and make more suggestions...

Look up the wiring diagrams on mymopar and see how the power wire is different from Heater to A/Cm then wire the heater blower wiring to adapt to your car...

Are you crossing heater only with AC wiring/switches??? They are different and not plug and play interchangeable... They can be made to work if you can do some wiring...

Go with the clutch fan... I've heard horror stories of flex fans grenading...

The uderdash wiring is different from a/c to non a/c... Research the wiring diagrams before you jump in....

Those are for 5/8" nipples, they should also have some in 1/2" if you need them...

Why not close the blend door when you aren't needing heat???

I've always drilled and tapped my own hole for the temp sensors in the intake manifold in the water jacket/port next to the thermostat on the driver's side...

The temp sensors in the aftermarket gauges are not the same size as the stock temp sensor... You need to drill and tap a hole in the intake manifold for them to fit into.... The aftermarket gauge should come with a bushing to thread into the intake and then put the sensor into... Be careful...

No, you need some depth and draft to the back face of the shroud, that one is just flat... Get one that looks closer to a stock fan shroud...

You have alot of wasted radiator there... Look how much is outside the fan... If your car is standing still, there is no airflow through the radiator that is outside the fan diameter... You need a good shroud and then move the fan rearward to help pull air through the whole radiator... Why...

Take lots of pictures of everything from different angles before tearing it down so you have a reference for when you put it back together....

Check your thermostat to make sure it opens before you install it, just put it in a pot of boiling water on your stove and make sure it's opening...
