    Thanks for all the replies. I should have gotten the 587's. I could still probably pick them up if that's what I decide to do. What about the magnums. How do the stock magnums compare to the LA heads. When considerring the same machine work (minor blending) to each type head.

    I passed on a set of 587's from a 340 for $50 cause I read that they didn't have much potential. Was that a bad move?

    I say save the money from buying another core and stroke the 318. Then you can smoke 340's and 360's.

    92' 360 LA or 99' 5.2 Magnum

    I've currently got a 99' 5.2 Magnum for my Duster project but, found a good deal on a 92' roller 360 LA. Should I pick up the 360 and sell the 5.2 or just keep what I got. I plan on setting the car up for street/strip and eventually blow thru turbo. Thanks for any help.
