on mine, i had it so the tail was on the top side when it was clipped in. guess my tails were well behaved

cable shifters use a Morse cable and brackets to hold the cable cover in place. if your building something from scratch or universal, it's way easier than linkage

you will be making or buying brackets anyway. that may or may not be an issue for you

hard to tell from the pics but @cosgig was showing a 68' in this thread. maybe he will let the dash pad go?

i agree, but lighting color is like any other option on these, use what you like. and Hemisedan, that car color is spot on

if you remove it you'll have a bunch of open holes in the dash frame. the pads are hard to find in good shape, i'm sure someone here could use them

they'll be covered with car seats and spilled food :thumbsup:

hit up your favorite auto parts store (if it's been a couple days they're probably getting ready to put your picture on a milk carton anyway), and get some seat covers. that will get you 5 or 6 years easy

i'd like to polish out the minor scratches in my clusters lenses. any suggestions what to use or methods? or talk me out of it. they're in great shape, but while it's apart, why not?
