that's what i think would work best, but i wonder...

i'm planning to take my car to a wrap place after i get the scoop on to see what they think. wondering if they can do it as one piece, no parting line between the scoop and the hood

the one's i got from Dante's were perfect. the glass guy who installed them, and has done a fair amount of mopars, commented how nice they were

looks like DrCharles & Dragonsteel both have the A12 road runner style 6 pack scoop. there is also the challenger T/A style scoop. also the a-body dual snorkel that kind of looks like a 6 pack scoop. and how are you wanting to attach it? some are bolt on but all can be glassed in to your hood

just the scoop? which one?

the other questions... what else uses the same or close enough panel? are you doing a full boogie restore that you care how correct it looks? how much of the panel do you need? all of it including the seams, or, are the edges good and you could fabricate the rest of it out of 16 gauge?

it just never looks "right", to me :rolleyes: with the window trim not chromed. and if your going to paint the bumpers, might as well just go with fiberglass

well, they're both. it's a C channel that's boxed by the floor

i'd like to see how they do going around a hood scoop

both mine were auto's and did not have them. no idea if that was normal

i think you've done a good job rehabbing that thing. a lot of what your looking at will disappear (to everyone but you :lol:) once it's in the car. you can try this stuff, or take it to a place that wraps cars and see what they would charge

the 3M's work well. comfortable and easy the breathe through. you can stack the organics and dust filters. a better than nothing test to see if it's sealed is put your palms over the filter intakes and try to breath in. should not be able to. you know it's working well when you can't smell...

a couple places to get replacements. 1 & 2. my 74' was the same way, needed to pull them slow and steady. any jerking and they lock up :mad:

do they know your practicing on them? :lol:

now clay the rest of the car and see how nice that is :thumbsup:
