    Indy 6.1 Crate

I know plenty of folks who have had bad experiences with indy. Myself included. You would be far better off with a 6.4 crate

    HELP!! on 5.7 in a 1969 Valiant

I wouldn’t put a carb on a gen3 for nothing. There’s an adapter to put an LS throttle body on it. They can wire it for the gm sensors for that. Mikes a good guy. He’s building that same harnes for mine plus a 4l80 trans controller built in.

    HELP!! on 5.7 in a 1969 Valiant

The most cost effective way to approach that is a gold box from efi source.

how to make a 6.1 spin safely 7500 rpms?

the best way to take a gen3 hemi and make it spin to 7000 is to pull it out and put an LS in its place. Seriously, to spin a gen3 that high you will spend $5000 plus in valve train and you will be constantly spending money on springs and head work. Spend your money adding stroke, don't spin it...

5.7L Ignition Timing Table - Feedback

There are some serious out in left field comments in this thread. The timing depends on the heads. The heads depend on the year. The VVT motors take next to no timing to make power because they are moving the LSA on the cam as the rpm range goes up. The base tune from EFI source needs a lot...

    500hp 5.7? Whats it take?

They will be fine at 6 psi with a good tune. They have cheap pistons and shallow ring lands

    500hp 5.7? Whats it take?

In all honesty it takes a little bit to make 500 out of an early 5.7. You cant do it without CNC eagle heads and a cam. You wont be able to do it with early heads though. Youll need eagle or 6.1 intake as well

Hp tuners is a full feature suite for the 05 and up ecm. Where did you take it? Cause there's no way that they shouldn't have been able to fix it if they knew what they are doing. Probably a typical LS shop with HP tuners that "can" tune dodges

    2016 6.4 srt in 69 dart

I'll say this and then I'll leave it alone. As someone who's tuned literally hundreds of gen3 cars over the years, I don't recommend anyone run that regulator. Spend twice as much on a good regulator that will hold 58 psi and in turn you wont have a car that runs like crap that you have to pay...

    2016 6.4 srt in 69 dart

why not do fuel injection on your big block? In all honesty if you already have a good running motor that is the route I would take. Gen3 hemi stuff is still unbelievably expensive. You can probably put a nice coil on plug EFI setup on your motor for under 2k.

    2016 6.4 srt in 69 dart

There are easier ways tan a stock harness to do this swap. Cheaper ways too. As far as fuel pump, A1000 is drastic overkill.

    6.1 help!

The crank is different. The snout of the crank specifically. You can buy aftermarket cranks for about $800. There is abolsutely nothing wrong with going to a 4.05 stroke or 4.08.......hell there are 4.2 stroke cranks out there. If you want a good combo try the 3.9 stroke. At a 4.07 bore it...

    Hotwire PCM questions

Well DBW makes it more expensive for sure. Unless your a really good tuner I would not attempt a boost tune with hpt and a stock ecm. Assuming you buy turbo's, you'll need a boost controller too. By the time you do that and pay someone to tune it....because trust me you will....the factory setup...

    Hotwire PCM questions

You can do the holley setup for about the same price as the factory ecm. It is an easier to tune solution in my opinion. I have tuned 100's of stock ecm cars. That is all I tuned for the last 7 years. I Moved to Holley on all the restomod stuff unless the customer insists on the stock ecm...

    Gen III / A body...high 10's / low 11's...street strip car. Anyone?

You certainly dont need a hellcat motor. My 2011 challenger ran 11's at 4200 pounds with a stock 6.4. It had a 5 speed and 3.06 rear gears. 1000 pound lighter car should go 10's. You can put a cam in it and make 500 wheel horsepower and go well into the 10's

09+ Eagle and 6.4 VVT delete kit???

I would not delete the VVT. In fact, I would buy a 6.4 crate motor, run the factor ecm and toss a cam in it an let it eat. 6.4 cam swaps with a manual are making 500 wheel horsepower these days.
