I'm a Summit guy too. Never had a problem with an order, a return, anything. Both before and after I worked there. Jegs never seemed friendly on the phone, like I was a nuisance. And, back when I ordered from them, the receipts were ugly. Thats all I got.

You are in luck! I just finished smoothing out the epoxy, I spent at least an hour with brake cleaner, small wire brushes, toothbrushes, purple clean, sandpaper, etc making sure I got the surface clean. I am just cleaning and inspecting the head, valves, etc, hope to have it all together this...

I see why you would use a brass sleeve. I cut a peice in half, clamped it down, tapped it into shape with a blunt punch, and epoxied it in. So far, so good!
